  Coffee

A public place
Room full of people
Excitement in the air
A cup of Java shared between friends

Pleasant conversation
Wonderful aroma
Together reaching for the sugar
Hands touch

Eyes meet
Excuses are spoken
Conversation continues
Unintentionally the spark is ignited

Making small talk
Between the distractions
Of what It might be like
To share more than just coffee between friends

Another cup is poured
Temperatures rising
Reaching to take a hand
Sitting there lost in each others eyes

It's late In the evening
The cups are now empty
Conversation now concluded
As the night is filled with possibilities

Of sensual touches
And passionate kisses
Exploring the ecstasy
Of more than Just coffee between friends
