Log configs are still in the bin directory.

2012-05-04Calculate the Daylight Savings Time information sent to the viewer based on ↵Justin Clark-Casey (justincc)1-0/+12
US Pacific Standard Time rather than whatever timezone the login server is set to. This is because the viewer doesn't receive a timezone from the server but bases its displays on Pacific Standard Time. However, it still expects to receive notification from the server as to whether or not Daylight Savings Time for PST is in operation. This commit introduces a new DSTZone setting in the [LoginService] config setting that accepts a list of timezone names valid across different platforms to calculate Pacific DST. If you need the old behaviour of calculating DST based on the local timezone of the server running the login service, then please override DSTZone with "local". A mailing list announcement will be made later. Thanks to Olivier Van Helden and Gudule Lapointe for determining this behaviour and providing this patch. 2012-03-17Region access control! Region operators can now specify things like ↵Diva Canto1-3/+1
DisallowForeigners (means what it says) and DisallowResidents (means that only admins and managers can get into the region). This puts the never-completed AuthorizationService to good use. Note that I didn't implement a grid-wide Authorization service; this service implementation is done entirely locally on the simulator. This can be changed as usual by pluging in a different AuthorizationServicesConnector.
2011-09-16On standalone, by default create the necessary minimum body parts and ↵Justin Clark-Casey (justincc)1-2/+5
clothes necessary to display a viewer 2 avatar, as implemented in c4efb97d This is controlled by the CreateDefaultAvatarEntries switch in the [UserAccountService] section of config-include/Stnadalone.ini This is left as false in grid mode
2011-09-15Write code to create minimum necessary body parts/clothing and avatar ↵Justin Clark-Casey (justincc)1-0/+1
entries to make a newly created user appear as a non-cloud on viewer 2 Viewer 2 no longer contains the default avatar assets (i.e. "Ruth") that would appear if the user had insufficient body part/clothing entries. Instead, avatars always appear as a cloud, which is a very bad experience for out-of-the-box OpenSim. Default is currently off. My intention is to switch it on for standalone shortly. This is not particularly flexible as "Ruth" is hardcoded, but this can change in the future, in co-ordination with the existing RemoteAdmin capabilities. Need to fix creation of suitable entries for users created as estate owners on standalone. Avatars still appear with spooky empty eyes, need to see if we can address this. This commit adds a "Default Iris" to the library (thanks to Eirynne Sieyes from http://opensimulator.org/mantis/view.php?id=1461) which can be used.
2011-06-12First pass at making the V2 map work. Standalones only for now. There are ↵Diva Canto1-0/+7
some issues with the zoom level -- TBD.
2011-06-01[Profiles] --> [Profile]Diva Canto1-1/+1
2011-05-27Added a BasicProfilemodule so that the profile-based actions (like give ↵Diva Canto1-0/+3
inventory, etc) work. This is just a mock profile, the same for all users, and with no DB backend behind it -- meaning that nothing will be saved. For serious profiles, use 3rd party implementations.

2010-09-12* Added ISimulationDataService and IEstateDataServiceJohn Hurliman1-0/+6
* Removed StorageManager * CONFIG CHANGE: There are no more database settings in OpenSim.ini. Check the config-include configuration files for region store and estate store database settings
2010-08-08Enabled GridInfoServiceInConnector for standalones.Diva Canto1-0/+1
2010-05-07GridUserService in place. Replaces the contrived concept of storing user's ↵Diva Canto1-3/+5
home and position info in the presence service. WARNING: I violated a taboo by deleting 2 migration files and simplifying the original table creation for Presence. This should not cause any problems to anyone, though. Things will work with the new simplified table, as well as with the previous contrived one. If there are any problems, solving them is as easy as dropping the presence table and deleting its row in the migrations table. The presence info only exists during a user's session anyway. BTW, the Meshing files want to be committed too -- EOFs.
2010-05-02Switched everything to XInventory by default. The old Inventory is still ↵Diva Canto1-3/+3
there for now, in case bugs pop up with XInventory.
2010-03-12start laoding griduser local connector, though it isn't invoked by anything yetJustin Clark-Casey (justincc)1-18/+22

config-include settings to a separate file for standalone Update information in StandaloneCommon.ini.example to reflect this Remove ISharedRegionModule interfaces from all SimianGrid connector classes temporarily since this stopped standalone from working (due to absence of AssetURI settings, etc.). Solution here may be to create separate region module connectors as done by local/grid/hypergrid so that loading can be controlled via include files Or otherwise work out how to stop these modules from being loaded for all OpenSim invocations
2010-03-05revert accidental Standalone.ini changeJustin Clark-Casey (justincc)1-9/+10
2010-03-05add initial UserGrid service classes as per diva's directionJustin Clark-Casey (justincc)1-10/+9
this will initially store home location data instead of the presence service compiles but not enough to actually test yet

2010-03-03Fix bug where approximately half the time, attachments would rez only their ↵Justin Clark-Casey (justincc)1-4/+4
root prim until right clicked (or otherwise updated). The root cause of this problem was that multiple ObjectUpdates were being sent on attachment which differed enough to confuse the client. Sometimes these would eliminate each other and sometimes not, depending on whether the scheduler looked at the queued updates. The solution here is to only schedule the ObjectUpdate once the attachment code has done all it needs to do.
2010-02-28Added FriendsData to both Null storage and SQLite. Untested.Diva Canto1-0/+4
2010-02-25List of friends now retrieved upon login. Configured and tested in ↵Diva Canto1-0/+4
standalone only.

2010-02-21* Added SQlite connector for AvatarData. Tested -- works.Diva Canto1-3/+3
* Small bug fix in debug message * Set default standalone configs to use SQLite across the board
2010-02-20Added UserAccountData and auth to the SQLite connector. Compiles, runs, but ↵Diva Canto1-3/+5
access to these tables doesn't work.
2010-02-14Added UserAccount, Avatar and Authentication to Data.Null, so that OpenSim ↵Diva Canto1-0/+6
can run out-of-the-box. #WaitingForSQLite

2010-01-15* General cleanup of Teleports, Crossings and Child agents. They are now in ↵Diva Canto1-0/+1
the new AgentTransferModule, in line with what MW started implementing back in May -- ITeleportModule. This has been renamed IAgentTransferModule, to be more generic. * HGSceneCommunicationService has been deleted * SceneCommunicationService will likely be deleted soon too
2010-01-10* Changed IPresenceService Logout, so that it takes a position and a lookatDiva Canto1-0/+22
* CommsManager.AvatarService rerouted
2009-12-29More renames to make everything consistent. This is the UserAccountService.Diva Canto1-1/+1
2009-12-29* Fixed names.Diva Canto1-1/+5
* Added configs for Standalone * Changed UserSericeBase to use useraccounts instead of user
2009-12-28* Added the new modules to Resources, making them active.Diva Canto1-0/+3

2009-12-23Library Module: allows adding folders/items to the Library from IAR files ↵Diva Canto1-0/+2
placed under bin/Library. This works only for standalones.
2009-09-26Finished spec-ing the .inis for the new grid service modules.Diva Canto1-2/+1
2009-09-23Changed IGridService to use the new GridRegion data structure instead of old ↵Diva Canto1-0/+1
SimpleRegionInfo. Added grid configs to standalones.
2009-09-23Modules active. Tested HGGridConnector in standalone only for now. Modules ↵Diva Canto1-0/+5
commands work.
2009-09-10The stubs for an authorization service, at the moment the service will ↵Rob Smart1-0/+4
always grant access to an avatar entering the region if requested.
2009-06-14Pulled out HelloNeighbour into its own service, INeighbourService, which may ↵diva1-2/+1
get more functions as we go along. It's a very simple service and service connectors, and it served primarily to establish the design of services that dependent on Scenes and that must always have a local connector. More refactoring coming, as this showed how to do it right.
2009-06-10Heart surgery no.2: the inventory service hooks. diva1-0/+9
Several improvements in the connectors themselves. Several improvements in configurations. Needed to add a hack in IUserService and UserManagerBase, to be removed when that service is refactored.
2009-06-06Added Flotsam's cache config vars to configuration. Made it the default in ↵diva1-0/+1
grided sims. Made Cenome cache the default in standalone sims. More splitting in ini files, invisible to the user.
2009-05-25Update svn properties.Jeff Ames1-10/+10
2009-05-22Added a few pre-packaged configurations to make it easier for people to ↵diva1-0/+10
configure their sims.
