2008-05-01* Thanks to Mic Bowman for inspiring me to look at that we are still using ↵Adam Frisby1-15/+0
ASCIIEncoder in places we shouldn't.
2008-05-01* Breaking all the code, breaking all the code..!Adam Frisby1-14/+14
* Made a bunch more members static, removed some dead code, general cleaning.
2008-05-01* In ur code. Making it static.Adam Frisby1-3/+3
* Converted a bunch of functions to static functions.
2008-04-21* Optimised using statements and namespace references across entire project ↵Adam Frisby1-3/+4
(this took a while to run).
2008-04-02changing more references to OpenSim.DataSean Dague1-1/+1
2008-03-22*Moved LandManagement into its own region module (spiffy!)mingchen1-2/+1
2008-03-18Formatting cleanup.Jeff Ames1-26/+25
2008-02-20Minor cleanup.Jeff Ames1-1/+1
2008-02-10Clean up logging calls using String.Format explicitlyJeff Ames1-1/+1
2008-02-05Converted logging to use log4net.Jeff Ames1-23/+25
Changed LogBase to ConsoleBase, which handles console I/O. This is mostly an in-place conversion, so lots of refactoring can still be done.
2008-01-21* Scripts edited within a prim will now be persisted correctlyJustin Clarke Casey1-1/+1
* On restart the latest save will be restored rather than the very first dragged in scripts * Also add previously missed out database commits to separate prim inventory commit path (sigh)
2008-01-21* Make object persistence more granular by separating prim and prim ↵Justin Clarke Casey1-0/+6
inventory persistence
2008-01-16* Store task inventory when an object is taken into agent inventoryJustin Clarke Casey1-1/+3
* This means that you can take an object from a region and rez it somewhere else, with its inventory intact. * As for earlier, at this stage only scripts can be placed in inventory * This isn't an efficient implementation, a better one will probably need to come along soonish
2008-01-15* Mother of all commits:Adam Frisby1-2/+2
* Cleaned up copyright notices in AssemblyInfo.cs's * Added Copyright headers to a bunch of files missing them * Replaced several common string instances with a static constant to prevent reallocation of the same strings thousands of times. "" -> String.Empty is the first such candidate.
2007-12-28* Moved PrimitiveBaseShape subclasses into factory methods - the subclassing ↵lbsa711-2/+2
scheme won't hold for serialization * Extracted out the 'old' AddNewPrimitive that places an object at an exact pos, without the raytracing
2007-12-27* Optimized usingslbsa711-149/+160
* shortened references * Removed redundant 'this' * Normalized EOF
2007-12-27* Fixed MonoSQLite Update Table routineTeravus Ovares1-3/+3
* Charles, this will fix the red issue. * Same situation, the first run updates the tables (and gives you a ton of red errors), the second run and everything works as expected.
2007-12-27* AssetServerBase: _ProcessRequest is now called GetAssetlbsa711-2/+6
* PrimitiveBaseShape: The textures are now exposed as a 'TextureEntry Textures'; all serialization still using the 'byte[] TextureEntry' for backwards compatibility. * Scene: Re-added AddTree, since the Tree type isn't gone from libsl, merely relocated.
2007-12-27* Added Sit Target persistence over sim restarts for mySQL and MonoSQLite.Teravus Ovares1-0/+46
* SAVE YOUR PRIM DATA, THIS MAKES CHANGES TO YOUR PRIMS TABLE * The first time you run OpenSim after updating past this revision, you'll see a lot of Errors. Be calm, shutdown the simulator, and start it again and your prims table will be updated. * MSSQL added the fields to the Initial CreateTable section, however, you'll need to add the fields to your prims table if you want it to persist.
2007-12-27Prim inventory persistence phase 1: Creation of preliminary table in sqlite.Justin Clarke Casey1-6/+2
No user functionality yet. This code is not turned on, so there is no possibility of disruption to existing databases.
2007-12-18*Fixed MySQLDataStore bug causing errors on startupmingchen1-0/+1
2007-12-18*Parcels and their access lists now store over multiple sessions when the ↵mingchen1-1/+1
datastore is sqlite
2007-12-17*Land has now been linked to the StorageManager. Next step is to fill in the ↵mingchen1-4/+4
functions for the different datastore interfaces for Land Objects.
2007-12-05* Applied MSSQL Patch from akokko, Thanks! akokkoTeravus Ovares1-337/+287
* This hasn't been tested in MSSQL mode, however it's been checked to make sure it doesn't cause any issues with mySQL/SQLlite
2007-12-04* Fixed a whole bunch of console messages.Adam Frisby1-2/+2
2007-11-27Remove unused function, one less warningSean Dague1-7/+0
2007-11-19put in changes to only keep the last terrain revision. The currentSean Dague1-0/+14
unbounded model causes performance and filesystem filling grief. Before enabling this again, we need a reasonable bounding model.
2007-11-19hopefully resolve mantis issue #10 by locking correcty around terrain methodsSean Dague1-50/+54
2007-11-16More cleaning up when deleting regions from a instance. NOTE: ↵MW1-13/+0
IGridServices.DeregisterRegion() method needs implementing for grid mode.
2007-11-15*** BIG CHANGES : REGION STORAGE MOVED : UPDATE YOUR OpenSim.ini FROM ↵lbsa711-7/+7
OpenSim.ini.example ** * Now moved region storage from region to application, so we have one storage per application, instead of one per region. * Changed so that the region store providers use connectionstrings, not filenames * Removed various unfit fields and properties (call me Darwin)
2007-11-15make Stopped a bit sloppier which should help address any float round off issuesSean Dague1-6/+7
2007-11-14added first attempt at storing stopped physical objectsSean Dague1-1/+17
2007-11-14clean up most of my mess on terrain. Someone on .NET please test and makeSean Dague1-21/+19
sure this remains working for you.
2007-11-14managed to produce and kill the same exception on mono as on .net. Hopefully Sean Dague1-0/+5
this means .net is fixed.
2007-11-14bury connect creation deeper down in case this is what .NET hatesSean Dague1-0/+1
2007-11-14random shot in the darkSean Dague1-3/+4
2007-11-14remove limit stanza, see if this helps.Sean Dague1-1/+1
2007-11-14get rid of parametrized query, in case this is the .NET issue (I hope not)Sean Dague1-5/+5
2007-11-14further adventures in .NET workaroundsSean Dague1-1/+4
2007-11-14no, this probably won't work either, but I'm going to at least make sure it ↵Sean Dague1-2/+2
works mono still
2007-11-14more attempted voodoo around .NETSean Dague1-3/+2
2007-11-14attempt to resolve Sqlite not working on .NET for terrainSean Dague1-21/+24
2007-11-13working now. Needs cleanup, but I'll have to do that after the next meetingSean Dague1-7/+16
2007-11-13some changes to reduce memory significantly by not keeping allSean Dague1-24/+36
terrain revisions in memory. Once I'm sure this is working, I'll purge out some of the crufty code here.
2007-11-07disable profuse logging messages for not saving physical Sean Dague1-1/+1
objects, as it clouds up the console a bit too much
2007-11-05Thank you, Teravus for: Solution for 'after using physical prim with ↵Charles Krinke1-3/+10
MonoSqliteDataStore, the sim lags with constantly updating assets.". This mostly affects BulletX.
2007-10-30* Optimized usingslbsa711-138/+151
* Shortened type references * Removed redundant 'this' qualifier
2007-10-29as per the "Filesystem cleanup for OpenSim repository" mailing list thread. ↵MW1-2/+2
Have flattened the OpenSim.Framework project/namespace. The problem is that the namespace is still wrong as its "OpenSim.Framework" while the directory is "OpenSim\Framework\General" , so we need to decide if we change the directory or correct the namespace. Note this has lead to a big flat project, but I think a lot of the files we most likely don't even use any longer. And others belong in other projects/namespaces anyway.
2007-10-23add locking to the terrain database callsSean Dague1-28/+31
2007-10-23* Added "create-region" console command. Syntax: create-region <name> ↵Adam Frisby1-5/+0
<region.xml filename> * Spring cleaning.
