fixes problems when group owned land was abandoned by the land owner or reclaimed by the estate manager or by god.
Beside that this new patch makes it possible, that users can buy land directly for a group, if the buyer has the required permissions.
|
|
This avoids .NET remoting and a managed->unmanaged->managed jump. Overall, a night and day performance difference
* Initialize the LLClientView prim full update queue to the number of prims in the scene for a big performance boost
* Reordered some comparisons on hot code paths for a minor speed boost
* Removed an unnecessary call to the expensive DateTime. Now function (if you *have* to get the current time as opposed to Environment.TickCount, always use DateTime.UtcNow)
* Don't fire the queue empty callback for the Resend category
* Run the outgoing packet handler thread loop for each client synchronously. It seems like more time was being spent doing the execution asynchronously, and it made deadlocks very difficult to track down
* Rewrote some expensive math in LandObject.cs
* Optimized EntityManager to only lock on operations that need locking, and use TryGetValue() where possible
* Only update the attachment database when an object is attached or detached
* Other small misc. performance improvements

sizes. * Now, what's available of the terrain will show and it'll be truncated if it's larger on Linden Clients. Parcel minimum is 64 (256/4) for the client to accept it.

lets you configure region sizes to be smaller without crashing the region. I remind you that regions are still square, must be a multiple of 4, and the Linden client doesn't like anything other then 256. If you set it bigger or smaller, the terrain doesn't load in the client, the map has issues, and god forbid you connect it to a grid that expects 256m regions.

This hooks up the LandManagementModule to handle the DeedParcelToGroup
packet. Now people can start testing land assigned to and owned by groups.
Also fixes a viewer crash issue when searching for and then joining a group
with an agent that is not already being tracked by groups server.

NOTHING has been deleted or moved off to forge at this point. what
has happened is that OpenSim.Region.Environment.Modules has been split
in two:

that provide functionality that the OpenSim developer community
considers core functionality:

OpenSim.Region.Environment into a "framework" part and a modules only
part. This first changeset refactors OpenSim.Region.Environment.Scenes,
OpenSim.Region.Environment.Interfaces, and OpenSim.Region.Interfaces
into OpenSim.Region.Framework.{Interfaces,Scenes} leaving only region
modules in OpenSim.Region.Environment.
The next step will be to move region modules up from
OpenSim.Region.Environment.Modules to OpenSim.Region.CoreModules and
then sort out which modules are really core modules and which should
move out to forge.
I've been very careful to NOT BREAK anything. i hope i've
succeeded. as this is the work of a whole week i hope i managed to
keep track with the applied patches of the last week --- could any of
you that did check in stuff have a look at whether it survived? thx!

release a direct descendant of the stable 7364, with all the features and
none of the issues.
This omits the following patch chain: r7383 r7382 r7381 r7377 r7375 r7373
r7372 r7370 r7369 r7368 r7367 r7366

* Update libopenjpeg as well for this patch.
* Appears to be okay on a very short sniff test
* Source code will be placed in opensim-libs shortly
|
|
|
|
|
|
* I believe this is reasonable since code outside the Linden client stack shouldn't be aware of the packet format being used
* I would love to have made the method protected, but the LoadBalancerPlugin is still calling it and resolving that would require more work
|
|
- Add support for immediate switching of Music/Media URLs. Radio-scripts should work now.
|
|
* Updates to libomv r2243,
* Remove lots of unnecessary typecasts
* Improves SendWindData()
Thanks jhurliman.
* Will update OpenSim-libs in 10 minutes..
|
|
* This is a HUGE OMG update and will definitely have unknown side effects.. so this is really only for the strong hearted at this point. Regular people should let the dust settle.
* This has been tested to work with most basic functions. However.. make sure you back up 'everything' before using this. It's that big!
* Essentially we're back at square 1 in the testing phase.. so lets identify things that broke.

Forces the landmark and menu flags to be always set, like in previous
releases. This will cause the parcel based restriction on setting
landmarks to have no effect, until it is implemented properly
|
|
the properties a bit to be more consistant with other objects (having things
like .Name .Description, etc).

Makes the estate dialog fully functional. Implements all client facing functionality. Moves estate data from estate_settings.xml, which is used to provide defaults, to the region data store. Creates one estate for each region, and places the region in it. Converts all region bans to estate bans.
|
|
Make all of the toggles go live. Utilizes the new database table for almost everything. Remove lots of now unneeded settings from the EstateSettings class
|
|
Patch #4 of the region settings series. Partial functionality of the new
storage system. More patches to follow.

override the default method of calculating how many prims a parcel can have.

* Fixes returning objects when the object owner hasn't been in the simulator since the simulator started up last.
|
|
There's some oddness with the parcel counts, but if you can get past the oddness, you can return objects under an owner that you have permission to return.
|
|
* If user is in the same sim with you, they'll get an inventory update, if not.... oh well, they'll have to clear their cache potentially before they'll see it.

|
*Removed hardcoded permissions checks
*Added permissions checks where needed
