2019-05-19Dump OpenSim 0.9.0.1 into it's own branch.onefang1-1/+1
2016-11-03Initial update to OpenSim 0.8.2.1 source code.David Walter Seikel1-17/+22
2012-05-03Implement optional name and description on http stream handlers so that we ↵Justin Clark-Casey (justincc)1-1/+2
can relate a slow request to what the handler actually does and the agent it serves, if applicable. This is most useful for capabilities where the url is not self-describing.
2012-01-06Implement the FetchInventory2 capability. This accompanies the existing ↵Justin Clark-Casey (justincc)1-13/+7
FetchInventoryDescendents2 capability. Not yet enabled by default. You can enable this by setting Cap_FetchInventory2 = "localhost" in the [ClientStack.LindenCaps] section of OpenSim.ini Enabling both FetchInventory2 and FetchInventoryDescendents2 improves the situation with properly fetching attachments and hud objects Probably because viewers are never expecting the odd situation where FetchInventoryDescendents2 is present but not FetchInventory2 However, for some reason attachments and hud objects occasionally fail to appear, though their status is correct in inventory For attachments, focussing on the avatar makes them appear. Hud objects have to be reattached.

2011-05-02Refactored the GetMesh module into a handler and a module, to be the same as ↵Diva Canto1-3/+13
GetTexture.
2011-05-02Works!Diva Canto1-8/+4
2011-05-01Added OpenSim.Capabilities.Handlers. For the moment it has only the ↵Diva Canto1-7/+8
GetTexture handler. The region module in Linden space uses it. WARNING: nothing of this works yet, it just compiles.
2010-11-25WARNING: LOTS OF CONFIGURATION CHANGES AFFECTING PRIMARILY HG CONFIGS. Added ↵Diva Canto1-1/+4
capability to preserve creator information on HG asset transfers. Added a new HGAssetService that is intended to be the one outside the firewall. It processes and filters the assets that go out of the grid. Also fixed the normal AssetService to do special things for the main instance (console commands, etc). Moved HGInventoryService to OpenSim.Services.HypergridService. Changed the way the login service gets the ServiceURL configs.
2010-05-09Implement the "delete" path for assets. Adds a new option to allow remote ↵Melanie1-1/+3
asset deletion in robust handler.

2009-05-22Cleaning up a few HG things. HG Posts may now work in grids, but if the home ↵diva1-0/+1
grid is a standalone, this still doesn't work -- something wrong with RegionAssetService's DB connection.
2009-05-18This commit changes the way the new server works. There is no longer a serverMelanie Thielker1-2/+4
exe for each function, rather each function is a connector and the server ini loads them. If you like your multiple processes, use -inifile with the server. Otherwise, you get one server process that serves all configured funcions, see example .ini. The new exe is OpenSim.Server.exe. Clean your bin, loads of names have changed!
2009-05-18Refactor: Change "Servers" to "Server", since the can only be one. BreakMelanie Thielker1-3/+2
the handlers out of the asset server context into a generic scope.

2008-11-19Reverting the texture sending patch and the new libOMV. This makes thisMelanie Thielker1-1/+1
release a direct descendant of the stable 7364, with all the features and none of the issues. This omits the following patch chain: r7383 r7382 r7381 r7377 r7375 r7373 r7372 r7370 r7369 r7368 r7367 r7366
2008-11-17* Update libOMV to r2359. This is necessary for the progressive texture patchJustin Clarke Casey1-1/+1
* Update libopenjpeg as well for this patch. * Appears to be okay on a very short sniff test * Source code will be placed in opensim-libs shortly
2008-09-06* This is the fabled LibOMV update with all of the libOMV types from JHurlimanTeravus Ovares1-3/+3
* This is a HUGE OMG update and will definitely have unknown side effects.. so this is really only for the strong hearted at this point. Regular people should let the dust settle. * This has been tested to work with most basic functions. However.. make sure you back up 'everything' before using this. It's that big! * Essentially we're back at square 1 in the testing phase.. so lets identify things that broke.
2008-05-01* Cleaned namespaces of entire solution. OpenSim directories now correspond ↵Adam Frisby1-2/+2
with namespaces.

2007-08-14preliminary support for editing notecards and scripts. MW1-18/+17
Although there seems to sometimes be a problem of when you login again, old notecards and scripts will have their permissions messed up and you won't be able to even view their text. This seems to be related to the client's cache, and if you clear your client's cache, on the next login they should be fine again. [I have a couple of ideas about what might be causing this so hopefully will have it fixed soon.]

2007-07-22* Some work in progress code: Inventory cache, start of inventory ↵MW1-18/+18
server/service, userprofile cache, inventory handling. (non of it is enabled yet (or at least it shouldn't be). * Fixed some of the problems with crossing regions when flying: you should no longer sink to ground level when crossing (should keep roughly your right height). Should no longer sometimes get sent back to the centre of the current region when attempting to border cross. But instead sometimes you will find you avatar stop at the edge of region and you will need to start moving again to retry the crossing (which should then work). This code is partly based on Babblefrog's issue #212 patch. [I think I have some ideas of how to solve the stopping at edges problem, just want to get the inventory code done first] * Capabilities code has now been moved to the OpenSim.Framework.Communications project as some of the caps code will be tightly tied to inventory/asset handling and it was causing a two way reference problem when it was in its own project/dll. This is a Big commit as I was going to keep my inventory work local until I had it in a working state, in case it brakes anything, but its getting harder to keep in sync with svn.
