2012-06-13Don't include time to transmit response back to requester when assessing ↵Justin Clark-Casey (justincc)1-1/+0
slow handling of requests. This is to avoid logging a 'slow' request when the source of delay is the viewer in processing a response. This is not something we can do much about on the server end - it's server-side delay that we're interested in. To ensure consistency, this commit also had to refactor and simplify inbound non-poll network request handling, though there should be no functional change. IOSHttpResponse no longer exposes the Send() method, only classes in OpenSim.Framework.Servers.HttpServer should be doing this. Only the GetTextureHandler was sending its own response. Now it leaves this to BaseHttpServer, like all other core handlers.
2011-11-03Rename ForEachAvatar back to ForEachScenePresence. The other changesDan Lake1-1/+1
from previous commit which sort out which iterator is used are left intact. A discussion is needed as to what constitutes an avatar vs a ScenePresence.
2011-11-03Renamed ForEachRootScenePresence to ForEachAvatar. Cleaned up calls toDan Lake1-1/+1
the 3 iteration functions so more of them are using the correct iteration for the action they are performing. The 3 iterators that seem to fit all actions within OpenSim at this time are: ForEachAvatar: Perform an action on all avatars (root presences) ForEachClient: Perform an action on all clients (root or child clients) ForEachRootClient: Perform an action on all clients that have an avatar There are still a dozen places or so calling the old ForEachScenePresence that will take a little more refactoring to eliminate.
2011-09-22Reinstate option to land an npc when it reaches a target.Justin Clark-Casey (justincc)1-1/+1
This is moved into ScenePresence for now as a general facility
2011-08-10early code to allow scripts to force npcs not to fly when moving to targetJustin Clark-Casey (justincc)1-1/+1
this is to allow walking on prims. it will be up to the script writer to be sure that there is a continuous path. currently implemented in osNpcMoveToTarget(), but none of this is final.
2011-08-03refactor: rename the move to position methods to move to target to be ↵Justin Clark-Casey (justincc)1-1/+1

2011-08-02Partially fix autopilot/go hereJustin Clark-Casey (justincc)1-1/+1
This now works again except that it requires a click or avatar mvmt to get going This is because the ScenePresence.HandleAgentUpdate() method doesn't trigger until the client does something significant, at which point autopilot takes over. Even clicking is enough to trigger. This will be improved presently.
2011-08-02Get rid of AvatarAppearance.Owner to simplify the code.Justin Clark-Casey (justincc)1-7/+7
This is not used for anything - appearances are always properties of objects with ids (ScenePresence, AgentCircuitData) and just has the potential to get out of sync when the appearance is cloned.

2010-11-21Added creator info across the board -- TaskInventoryItems and InventoryItems ↵Diva Canto1-0/+1
themselves. Tested. Seems to be working, main tests pass. Nothing done for IARs or HG transfers yet -- this only works for OARs for the time being. New migration in inventory table in order to make CreatorID varchar(255).
2010-10-30READ CAREFULLY!!! This is a BROKEN commit. It is UNTESTED and INCOMPLETE.Melanie1-1/+4
It contains a major interface version bump and will NOT work with earlier grid services. This is preliminary work that will lead to layers support. Rest appearance services are commented out completely, they will have to be adapted by someone who actually uses them. Remote admin is working, but has no layers support. There is no layers support in the database. Login likely won't work. You have been warned.
2010-10-21First attempt to get multiple attachments working to support viewer2.Master ScienceSim1-15/+10
The attachment code appears to work correctly for 1.23 viewers so, in spite of some big changes in the internal representation, there don't appear to be regressions. That being said, I still can't get a viewer2 avatar to show correctly.

2010-03-19Cleaned up access to scenepresences in scenegraph. GetScenePresences and ↵Dan Lake1-20/+16
GetAvatars have been removed to consolidate locking and iteration within SceneGraph. All callers which used these to then iterate over presences have been refactored to instead pass their delegates to Scene.ForEachScenePresence(Action<ScenePresence>).

2009-10-02* Creates Util.UTF8 and switches some references of Encoding.UTF8 to ↵John Hurliman1-2/+2
Util.UTF8 (not all references were switched since not all OpenSim libraries reference OpenSim.Framework) * Shrinks the largest in-memory object, the LLRAW.HeightmapLookupValue struct (only used for exporting to LLRAW terrain files), to the minimum possible size. This seems to have the odd side effect of cutting the size of the two double[256,256] terrain objects in half. Possibly an alignment optimization?

2009-06-10Heart surgery no.2: the inventory service hooks. diva2-3/+3
Several improvements in the connectors themselves. Several improvements in configurations. Needed to add a hack in IUserService and UserManagerBase, to be removed when that service is refactored.

2009-05-15Heart surgery on asset service code bits. Affects OpenSim.ini configuration ↵diva3-11/+11
-- please see the example. Affects region servers only. This may break a lot of things, but it needs to go in. It was tested in standalone and the UCI grid, but it needs a lot more testing. Known problems: * HG asset transfers are borked for now * missing texture is missing * 3 unit tests commented out for now
2009-05-09Fixed handling of inventory a bitHomer Horwitz1-8/+8
- AssetType isn't InventoryType. Those enums contain different numbers. Use AssetType for the asset type, InventoryType for the inventory type. - The ToString method (or ToLower) of AssetType/InventoryType doesn't necessarily return the correct LLSD string. - Replaced several magic numbers by their corresponding enum. - Fixed the invType for gestures and animations in the library. This should fix Mantis #3610 and the non-terminating inventory loading

Fixed problem with REST services caused by changes to the OpenSim core code base - the comms manager had been 'modularized'. Also added additional debugging to RemoteAdmin interface.

2009-02-09From Alan Webb <awebb@linux.vnet.ibm.com>Sean Dague1-1/+1
These changes replace all direct references to the AssetCache with IAssetCache. There is no change to functionality. Everything works as before. This is laying the groundwork for making it possible to register alternative asset caching mechanisms without disrupting other parts of OpenSim or their dependencies upon AssetCache functionality.
2009-02-06This changeset is the step 1 of 2 in refactoringDr Scofield1-1/+1
OpenSim.Region.Environment into a "framework" part and a modules only part. This first changeset refactors OpenSim.Region.Environment.Scenes, OpenSim.Region.Environment.Interfaces, and OpenSim.Region.Interfaces into OpenSim.Region.Framework.{Interfaces,Scenes} leaving only region modules in OpenSim.Region.Environment. The next step will be to move region modules up from OpenSim.Region.Environment.Modules to OpenSim.Region.CoreModules and then sort out which modules are really core modules and which should move out to forge. I've been very careful to NOT BREAK anything. i hope i've succeeded. as this is the work of a whole week i hope i managed to keep track with the applied patches of the last week --- could any of you that did check in stuff have a look at whether it survived? thx!
