* See if this fixes the 0x0 texture size problems, and speeds up texture ↵MW2007-08-261-2/+3
| | | | downloads in general a little bit.
* Another attempt to fix the image sending bug (next week, I intend to rewrite ↵MW2007-08-263-35/+80
| | | | | | | | the assetcache and asset server). Attempt to fix bug # 326. (crashing when using save-xml and hollow prims) Attempt to fix bug # 328 (limit of 50 items in a folder)
* Second attempt to commit : Test to see if this change improves or makes ↵MW2007-08-251-1/+1
| | | | worse the texture sending bug
* A little bit of cleaning up.MW2007-08-221-1/+1

* Can now turn on/off server side permission checking (on prim editing etc) ↵MW2007-08-213-11/+23
| | | | | | | from the opensim.ini file. Just add a line to the Startup section like : serverside_object_permissions = true Changes /editing that are made to clothing/ body parts in your inventory should now be saved between logins/ restarts.
* Sqlite datastore should now save the textures and extraparams data (used by ↵MW2007-08-192-12/+32
| | | | | | | | | | | | | sculpties) correctly. [Really need to add a ExtraParams field to the sqlite database though, but for now I have combined their data so that we don't lose backward compatibility, know a couple of people have been using the datastore already]. Now have a rough day/night cycle (the movement of the sun needs to be made smoother but for now it is better than we had I think). Added dalien's patch (issue 294) for saving and loading prims to a xml file (think he will be modifying these to be import/export functions and maybe writing a xml datastore for backups). Some preliminary work on task inventory (ie object's/prim's inventory). Added place holder data for AvatarProperties (ie a avatar's profile). Should we store this sort of data on the user server or have another server for it (a normal webserver should work). Added a few more method to IClientAPI. Sure there is something I'm forgeting.
* Taking Prims (SceneObjectGroups) in and out of inventory should now work and ↵MW2007-08-164-27/+79
| | | | if left in inventory will still be there after restarts. (as with the rest of inventory it will only fully work in standalone mode with account authentication turned on).
* Can now set the plugins for standalone mode's Inventory database (default ↵MW2007-08-161-1/+6
| | | | sqlite) and for its user database (default DB4o). Currently changing the user plugin to MySql should work (if you have MySql setup (should be same as for grid mode). There is also a MySql provider for the inventory but not 100% certain if that is finished and functional (will need to check with Adam on that).
* More work on inventory, can now create other inventory types, like Clothes ↵MW2007-08-153-11/+141
| | | | and body parts. [Note while you can edit these, at the moment your changes won't be saved between restarts. This will be fixed very soon.]
* preliminary support for editing notecards and scripts. MW2007-08-145-11/+121
| | | | | Although there seems to sometimes be a problem of when you login again, old notecards and scripts will have their permissions messed up and you won't be able to even view their text. This seems to be related to the client's cache, and if you clear your client's cache, on the next login they should be fine again. [I have a couple of ideas about what might be causing this so hopefully will have it fixed soon.]
* Can now create some new empty inventory items (like notecards and scripts) ↵MW2007-08-141-2/+0
| | | | from the create menu in the inventory window. Although currently you can't update/edit them (and have those changes saved).
* Start of inventory items, when you upload a texture the data will now be ↵MW2007-08-145-11/+60
| | | | | | | stored in the inventory database and you will still have that texture in inventory on later logins (Again only in standalone mode with authentication.) Also there might be some problems if you upload textures in other regions to the start one (due to us not updating the CAPS url properly).
* More inventory work, should be able to now create new inventory folders and ↵MW2007-08-143-25/+39
| | | | | | | them be stored in database (so are there on next login). Again only works in standalone mode with Account/password authentication turned on. [Creating new inventory items should be working very soon.] The test is to make sure that it hasn't broke grid mode at all.
* Start of Inventory service, currently only (partially) functional in ↵MW2007-08-142-3/+18
| | | | | | | | standalone mode and using sqlite). In standalone mode, if you have account authenticate turned on (setting in opensim.ini) then when you create a new account, a set of inventory is created for that account and stored in database (currently only a set of empty folders). Then during login the database is search for that set and sent to the client in the login response. More functions will be added soon, like creating new folders (and a bit later items) from the client inventory window.

* Start of replacing the old SceneObject/Primitive classes with the new versions.MW2007-08-091-1/+1
| | | | | | PLEASE NOTE: that with this revision some prim related features may be broke for a while. (things like linking prims and the parcel prim count.) Also this revision may not work on mono, but that will be fixed soon.
* Making sure my local working copy is in sync with svn before I start the job ↵MW2007-08-092-4/+6
| | | | of enabling the new SceneObject classes.
* Fixed the asset download problem I think, solution might not be ideal but ↵MW2007-08-081-12/+9
| | | | works for now.
* Hopefully improved texture downloading (including the speed at which they ↵MW2007-08-081-35/+83
| | | | download), but still a few problems, it seems that the client has a quite short timeout for receiving a texture and if the whole texture isn't sent within this time, the client will request the texture again, With quite small textures this is fine, but it seems that with larger textures we can't send them fast enough and a infinite loop develops where the client keeps requesting a texture and we keep trying to send it, but are never fast enough. So I've for now put code in that so that the server will try to send a texture only once and then after that will ignore future requests from that client for that texture.
* Added checks to the last commit to make sure the xml files exist before it ↵MW2007-08-081-2/+5
| | | | tries to load them.
* The startup set of assets in the local asset server can now be set from a ↵MW2007-08-081-3/+42
| | | | | | | xml file (OpenSimAssetSet.xml). (remember to make changes to the set, you will also need to delete the old asset .yap file, so that it is recreated). Also the set of items in the OpenSim inventory Library can also now be set from a xml file (OpenSimLibrary.xml).
* CAPS should now be working in standalone mode. Texture uploads will work ↵Brian McBee2007-08-081-6/+12
| | | | even after you cross a region boundary.
* a couple of changes in the new Sceneobject classes, just committing so ↵MW2007-08-071-3/+1
| | | | things are kept in sync.
* few small changes.MW2007-08-011-0/+1
| | | | | Updated libsl to latest version.
* Some more work on SceneObject/primitive rewrites (AllNewSceneObjectGroup2 ↵MW2007-08-012-8/+12
| | | | | | | | /Part2). Updated the JavaVM to a later version I did (basically some clean up and a little bit more functional). Added SendLoadURL method to IClientAPI.
* clear userAgent state on client shutdown, which fixes the issueSean Dague2007-07-311-0/+1
| | | | | | where you could only login once with a given id in standalone mode.
* mass update of files to have native line endingsSean Dague2007-07-3016-999/+999

* Deleting objects should now work. But beware they aren't send to your trash ↵MW2007-07-291-0/+1
| | | | folder or anything so there is at the moment no way to recover deleted objects.
* Commit 1/2Adam Frisby2007-07-291-1/+1
| | | | | | | * DB4o no longer crashes the sim on Startup * DB4o now crashes the sim on shutdown. * Variety of console verbosity fixes.
* You should now see the correct Avatar for other users, including their ↵MW2007-07-281-1/+1
| | | | | | | clothes, although their still seems to be a few problems with the clothes, in that sometimes other avatar's default clothes are white. At last, removed the need for the avatar-texture.dat file. (Please never come back).
* Should now have version 0.1 of our new ruth default avatar. At the moment, ↵MW2007-07-273-18/+48
| | | | | | | | you only see your own avatar correctly, all other user's avatars show up as the old ruth. This will be fixed soon. We also need better clothing for the new ruth and to edit the body shape. To get this working you will need to delete your asset yap file and also in grid mode the user server needs to be updated.
* A few changes so that the number of warnings is less but without deleting ↵MW2007-07-272-2/+5
| | | | | | | | everything. Like, I removed the Obsolete from the old caps method as at this time not all caps calls can use the new Caps stream method as it doesn't properly deal with LLSD Arrays. Now down to 3 warnings on the events in IClientAPI and for now I think we have to live with them as I think most of those events will be used.
* More work on inventory and opensim library.MW2007-07-263-347/+514
| | | | | Fixed a number of bugs in the AssetCache related to asset downloading.
* Added the default shape to the OpenSim library. Now need to get the new ruth ↵MW2007-07-251-11/+39
| | | | into asset format and add that.
* Start of the OpenSim library , for now only contains a few textures. MW2007-07-258-1298/+1440

* Think I've recovered my deleted files, so hopefully it works now. MW2007-07-226-0/+1290

* * Some work in progress code: Inventory cache, start of inventory ↵MW2007-07-2221-310/+1004
| | | | | | | | | | | server/service, userprofile cache, inventory handling. (non of it is enabled yet (or at least it shouldn't be). * Fixed some of the problems with crossing regions when flying: you should no longer sink to ground level when crossing (should keep roughly your right height). Should no longer sometimes get sent back to the centre of the current region when attempting to border cross. But instead sometimes you will find you avatar stop at the edge of region and you will need to start moving again to retry the crossing (which should then work). This code is partly based on Babblefrog's issue #212 patch. [I think I have some ideas of how to solve the stopping at edges problem, just want to get the inventory code done first] * Capabilities code has now been moved to the OpenSim.Framework.Communications project as some of the caps code will be tightly tied to inventory/asset handling and it was causing a two way reference problem when it was in its own project/dll. This is a Big commit as I was going to keep my inventory work local until I had it in a working state, in case it brakes anything, but its getting harder to keep in sync with svn.

* More work on UserProfile and inventory cache (still currently not enabled).MW2007-07-115-0/+256
| | | | | Asset uploading over CAPS now works, and although inventory isn't really working yet, this should now at least enables texturing of prims.
* Gird mode in sugilite should now work in so far as you should be able to ↵MW2007-07-101-1/+2
